Lahore News update 18-02-2024: Chief minister of Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz announced the Asaan karobar loan scheme today date 18 February 2025. The interest free loan scheme has been announced for small and medium level business units.
The Punjab government initiative aimed to provide loans to businessmen to increase the job opportunities for the people of Pakistan in Punjab. the applicants are encouraged to export the Pakistani products to international market to get dollars for Pakistani economy.
The main goals of the loan are to provide financial assistance to ongoing business units startup entrepreneurships.
The assan karobar loan scheme will group up the economic growth, the people cannot withdraw cash, only online transactions are allowed. So, government can take taxes, only registered tax filers are eligible to apply for asaan karobar loan scheme and karobar card login online.
Eligibility criteria
The applicant having age limit 25 to 55 years old.
The applicant must be income tax filer / only FBR filers are eligible to apply.
Small business with minimum yearly sale PKR 150 million
Medium business with yearly sales between 150 million and Rs. 800 million are eligible to apply.
The applicant must have valid CNIC and national tax number.
The owner of the building or official rent agreement between owner and businessmen are mandatory.
Asaan karobar loan scheme Tier 1
The businessmen can take loan Rs. 1 million to Rs. 5 million with the refundable with zero interest rate within five years.
Asaan karobar loan scheme Tier 2
Tier 2 offers Rs. 6 million to Rs. 30 million also with a five-year refundable prepayment with zero interest rate.
The new businessmen or startup will be granted a specific period of up to six months, while existing businessmen are eligible for upto 3 months.
Asaan Karobar Loan Scheme application fees
The application fees non-refundable Rs. 5000/- for Tier one and Rs. 10,000/- for tier 2.
How to apply online
