National University of Medical Sciences Islamabad will conduct an entry test for students seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programs for the 2025-2026 academic session. FSC Pre-Medical pass students from across Pakistan are eligible to apply. The results of the NUMS MDCAT Entry Test will be announced by NUMS.

NUMS Islamabad has started online registration from today date 30-June-2025.

The NUMS Entry Test is exclusively for students seeking admission to military medical and dental colleges affiliated with military teaching hospitals.

The schedule for the entry test admission was announced on June 30, 2025. All candidates are required to appear in the NUMS MDCAT Entry Test to gain admission to Army Medical Colleges in Rawalpindi and other Army Medical Colleges across Pakistan.

Eligibility criteria for Entry test

Pakistani nationals/Overseas Pakistanis with at least intermediate (FSC Pre-Medical) HSSC Grade 12 and a minimum of 70% marks are eligible to appear for the NUMS MDCAT 2025 entrance test.
FSC/HSSC/A-Level/Grade 12 holders awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the NUMS MDCAT 2025 entrance test.
The NUMS MDCAT entrance test will be held on September 14, 2025, and is valid for admission to the MBBS/BDS course for the 2025-2026 academic year only.

Entry Test Paper Pattern of MDCAT NUMS:

The entry test paper with 150 MCQs and passing marks will be 60 percent means if you got 120 marks from 200 than student will be consider pass. The subjects will be Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English.
The entry test duration and paper pattern is same like UHS Lahore MDCAT entry Test.
Entry Test Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes.
Part B: psychological test: shall consist of 50 one best option type multiple choice questions MCQs with stipulated time of 15 minutes.

Prime minister Imran Khan launched Ehsaas Scholarship program for needy and talent students to study in intermediate and graduate. Eligibility Criteria:

Low income students, who cannot afford college / university fees and they have admitted to any government college or university on merit basis are eligible to apply for Ehsaas Scholarship Program.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

Be enrolled in a 4 or 5-year undergraduate program at an HEC-recognized public sector university.
Have secured admission on merit (i.e., fulfilled the admission criteria of the respective university).
Belong to a low-income family with a declared monthly income of PKR 45,000 or less.
Not be receiving any other scholarship or grant.

Apni Zameen Apna Ghar Scheme 2025 How to Apply Online

Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, announced the “Apni Zamen Apna Ghar” scheme today, May 3, 2025.

The first phase has commenced, and the official web portal is now live. Following the success of the “Apni Chahat Apna Ghar” project, the Punjab government introduced the “Apni Zamen Apna Ghar” initiative.

The digital portal is accessible online, allowing Punjab domicile holders to apply conveniently through the Punjab E-Portal.

A total of 19 districts of Punjab will benefit from this scheme and 2,000 plots in a total of 23 housing schemes will be allotted to the needy people of Punjab. Applicants from the following city districts will be eligible in the first phase:

Jhelum
Pattoki
Mamukanjan
Lodhran
Renala Khurd

The impoverished residents of the cities mentioned above can acquire 3 Marla plots through the welfare program “Apni Zameen, Apna Ghar.” Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz stated that the project was initiated by Nawaz Sharif to provide plots and own houses for the needy people in these districts. This is an announcement of the initial phase; the second phase will include additional districts across Punjab.

The applicant must be registered in national socio-economic program.

Punjab Education Board Increases Registration Fee for Matric 2025

A new registration fee schedule for students in classes 9 and 10 has been announced by Punjab education boards. It will be in effect for the 2025–2027 school year. The revised schedule indicates that the overall registration price has increased from the previous amount to Rs. 2,910.

Registration Deadline:

The procedure for the registration of 2025 academic year will begin on May 29, 2025, without

any late fee. However, students registering between May 30 and June 13 will have to pay a late fee of Rs. 600.

Registration Criteria:

The registration process will be conducted online.

Schools are also required to provide a physical copy of the registration paperwork to the appropriate board office.

Only students who will be at least 11 years and 2 months old on or before August 1, 2025, can register.

Students must present their B-Forms when registering.

The updated fee encompasses these elements:

1. Registration Fee: Rs. 1,100

2. Processing Fee: Rs. 630

3. Board Development Fund: Rs. 300

4. Scholarship Fee: Rs. 180

5. Sports Fee: Rs. 200

Besides the board fees, schools will also impose a fee of Rs. 500 for their services. Additionally, students might suffer an extra charge of Rs. 300 to Rs. 500 from schools for various other services. This revised fee structure is applicable to both public and private educational institutions of Punjab.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the second phase of the Honhaar Scholarship Scheme for the 2025 academic session. Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) has launched a new scheme under the name of “Industrial Training Program 2025”. Under the scheme, 30,000 individuals from across the Punjab except for Gujrat, Gujranwala & Sialkot will be trained in various employable demand-driven trades.
