jobs for garment merchandisers 2015
Clothing merchandisers, also called visual merchandisers or fashion merchandisers, make and maintain displays and other visual aspects in retail apparel outlets. Clothing merchandisers follow management guidelines in caring for and dressing mannequins, but postsecondary training in related fields may prove beneficial. Most clothing merchandisers receive career training while on-the-job, placing signs, preparing for events, such as seasonal display holidays and sales promotions. Employers may only require the equivalent of a high school diploma for entry-level positions.
