Admission to A-level

First stage Early admission:

Students who register before June 30 are entitled to a 100% waiver in the admission fee and can apply for limited special scholarships (please visit the school to find out about special scholarships).

Second stage Early admission

Students who register between  July 1  and July 31 are entitled to 50% concession in the admission fee and can apply for limited special scholarships (please visit us to know about special scholarships).

Regular admission

Students who register after August 1 can get admission offers as long as there are seats available.

Admission offer is based on interview with the admission committee.

Merit Scholarship for A-level students

NGS offers generous merit scholarships to A-level students based on a grade point system.

A* = 5 points, A = 4 points, B = 1.5 points

Eight best O-level grades are considered to calculate the total points. The table below shows the tuition fee in rupees per month:

Need based Scholarship for A-level students

Scholarship based on need is granted by an evaluation committee which looks at each case individually. Application forms for need based scholarship are available at the school.

Admission procedure

1. Candidate must appear for the A-Level interview as detailed on the Registration Card.

2. If the date is missed, a new date may be obtained from the office within 7 days.

3. At Least one person must accompany the candidate for interview.

4. The school will inform of the outcome of the interview within one week.

5. If admission is offered, it must be confirmed by payment within 7 days of intimation.

O-Level

O-level for GIRLS ONLY is offered at the NGS Mall Campus.

A co-education O-level programme is offered at the NGS Liberty Campus.

O-levels are usually taken at the age of sixteen. Students can take any number of O-levels. Most students at the National Grammar School take up to nine O-levels after studying for two to three years in their chosen subjects.

All students have to take the compulsory O-level subjects which are: English, Islamiyat, Mathematics, Pakistan Studies, and Urdu. In addition to compulsory subjects, students can take three or four subjects from the list below:

Junior & Middle Schools

The NGS Junior school (classes II – VI)

This is a co-education programme housed at our Mall Campus. Carefully designed curriculum and co-curricular activities address every aspect of the child’s development. The learning Pentagon as well call it, is a holistic set of learning activities which ensure academic, physical, social, spiritual and aesthetic development of students.

The NGS Middle School (classes VII – VIII)

This programme is offered for GIRLS ONLY at the NGS Mall Campus and for both BOYS & GIRLS at the NGS Liberty Campus.

The Middle School programme is essentially a pre-O’Level programme. The curriculum sets a sound base and prepares students for the O-level. There is a lot of stress on English language and Mathematics. Sciences and other subjects are mainly learned through project work.

Admission to Junior and Middle school is possible as long as there are places available.
