Senior Executive Accounts Payable Job description
- Invoice Processing
The Accounts payable applicant have to review and verify invoices for accuracy, competences and compliance with company policies.
Recording Accounts payable invoices into the accounting system after approval from Manager.
The candidate must be ensured timely and accurate processing of invoices for payment.
- Vendor Management
The hired person must be communicating with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and other related matters.
The AP Team must reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues.
The payable accountant must establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Payment Processing
The accounts payable accountant must prepare payment vouchers and process the payment on time.
The accounts payable accountant need to be coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary approvals for payment.
Ensure payments are made in accordance with payment terms and conditions of due days.
- Month End Reconciliation
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
The AP Team have to provide support for month end and year end closing processes.
- Reporting
The Accounts payable Accountant must generate the analyse reports related to accounts payable and provide financial reports and analysis to management as needed.

Senior Executive Accounts Payable Qualifications and Skills
The applicant must have Bachelor’s degree (B.com / BBA) in accounting and finance.
