Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is representing Pakistan in the forum. The Prime Minister will highlight investment opportunities in Pakistan in the forum.
The Prime Minister will also participate in interactive session on “adapting to climate risk” and share Pakistan’s experience in handling natural disasters and evolving a strategy to prepare for natural calamities. He will also join the world leaders at an informal gathering besides attending the session on “defining the imperatives for 2012‚ and a media leaders event. Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will use the forum and his interaction with world leaders to promote Pakistan’s political and economic interests. He will also host a business lunch on January 28. He is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with the presidents of Switzerland‚ Azerbaijan‚ Mexico, Prime Ministers of Denmark‚ Thailand‚ the founder and chairman of the world economic forum‚ UN high commissioner for refugees‚ director general world health organization besides a meeting with the Microsoft Chief Bill Gates on the side lines of the world economic forum.
